We attended the "Back to the Garden" program in 2024, and were among the 15 couples who benefited from David and Amy's seminar. The main theme, putting God at the center of our marriage, reminded us not to live as "marriage singles" but to return to the "garden" where God orchestrated our union. David and Amy's authentic sharing about their marriage truly resonated with many of us. We genuinely benefited from this program. After seeing its positive impact, we invited David and Amy to our church, where they blessed many other couples. We highly recommend this program for couples preparing for marriage and those seeking to enrich their existing marriage.
On 30th August 2024, when I arrived at the “Back to the Garden Seminar 2024,” I noticed a simple A4 paper on the door with the words “Back to the Garden” printed on it. Despite its plain and unsophisticated appearance, there was something supernatural about that sign. It felt as though the words were speaking directly to me, confirming that I was at the right place, at the right time. The next day, I had a tangible encounter with the Father’s love. As Amy was speaking, I felt wave after wave enter my heart—until something deep within broke, and I began to weep uncontrollably. I don’t cry easily. The last time I cried like that was 12 years ago, when I first stepped up to the altar as a new Christian. Back then, I didn’t fully understand what was happening. But this time, I knew I had encountered the Father again. The message was authentic, and the encounter was real. It was a beautiful glimpse into what the Garden was meant to be. Thank you, David and Amy, for creating such a sacred space.
How the father is at the heart of marriage. How healing is needed individually. How different unresolved issues result also in different ways of receiving love
We came into the marriage with our brokenness and sought to fill the void by taking from each other. The only way forward was to receive love from the Father so it flows naturally to us, so we are living in his image (feminine and masculine). That would be my key takeaway among other things.
Sharings from both David and Amy were authentic and redeeming!Some of the questions asked really helped me think deeper and reflect on my relationship and marriage.
The workshop provides an in-depth understanding of God’s original intent and purposes of what, whom and how marriage should be.
Don't buy into the lie of living an orphan life Rest in the Father's love rather than striving, He will provide, lean into my husband's love. Keep the home a safe and loving space for husband and child, by God's strength and love. Out of the outpouring of the love of the Father, celebrate my child's strengths and ask for God's vision for his life, shape him into what God has called him to be.
